Hey everyone!

I wanted to start a discussion about upholstery cleaning. We all know how quickly couches, chairs, and other upholstered furniture can get dirty, especially if you have kids, pets, or just a busy household. What methods have worked for you all to keep your furniture looking clean and fresh?

Here are a few things that work for me:

  1. Regular Vacuuming: I vacuum my couches and chairs once a week to remove dirt and dust before it gets embedded in the fabric.

  2. DIY Stain Removal: For small spills, I use a mixture of mild detergent and warm water to gently blot the stain. Does anyone have a better home remedy for stains?

  3. Steam Cleaning: Once or twice a year, I rent a steam cleaner, but I’ve been wondering if it's worth investing in one. Has anyone here bought a steam cleaner for their home? How’s it holding up?

  4. Fabric Protectors: I’ve considered using fabric protectors to prevent future stains, but I’m unsure how effective they really are. Any recommendations?

For more detailed advice, I found this helpful guide on upholstery cleaning if anyone wants to check it out.

Feel free to share your experiences, product recommendations, or tips on how you keep your upholstery clean. Also, for those of you who’ve hired professional cleaners, what’s your experience been like?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
